The XS-D170SI/D130SI consists of two tweeters and two
woofers.
• The tweeters and the woofers can be mounted in

separate locations.

• Polypropylene cone woofer with butyl rubber

surround for high power handling, great linearity,
smooth response and deep bass.

• The tweeters can be mounted on the front door panels

or dashboard.

• Soft-dome tweeter with neodymium magnet for

smooth and higher highs.

• Easy adjustable tweeter level network

• Do not continuously use the speaker system

beyond the peak power handling capacity.

• Keep recorded tapes, watches, and personal

credit cards using magnetic coding away from
the speaker system to protect them from damage
caused by the magnets in the speakers.

Caution
When using the speakers with an amplifier or
power booster employing the BTL (balanced
transformerless) system, be sure to connect the
speaker system cords directly to the amplifier
speaker cords. If the connexion is made through
already existing speaker cords which have a
common 

#

 lead for both the right and left

channels, it is possible that no sound will be
heard, and that the amplifier will be damaged.

If you cannot find an appropriate mounting
location, consult your car dealer or your nearest
Sony dealer before mounting.

Précautions

• Ne faites pas fonctionner en continu le système

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Precauzioni

• Non utilizzare il sistema diffusori con

alimentazione di potenza nominale superiore a
quella massima supportata e in modo prolungato.

• I nastri registrati, gli orologi e le carte di credito

con codice magnetico devono essere tenuti
lontano dal sistema diffusori, per evitare che i
magneti dei diffusori possano danneggiarli.

Attenzione
Se si utilizzano i diffusori con un amplificatore o
un preamplificatore di potenza che utilizza il
sistema BTL (senza trasformatore bilanciato),
accertarsi di collegare i cavi del sistema diffusori
direttamente ai cavi dell’amplificatore. Se il
collegamento viene effettuato mediante i cavi
diffusore già esistenti dotati di un cavo in
comune

 per i canali destro e sinistro, è

possibile che non venga emesso alcun suono e
che l’amplificatore venga danneggiato.

adatta per il montaggio, consultare il
