Instructions for Use
The Professional Hair Straightener is ideal for personal use at home. Ceramic hot
plates ensure equal heat distribution, relaxing the hair and creating a shiny,
smooth finish. The Professional Hair Straightener is suitable for all hair types-
thick, fine, natural, curly or colored.
Please read the following instruction carefully before use.
SAFETY FIRST
• ENSURE the cord is in perfect condition. If there is any damage to the cord, the
appliance must NOT be used until the cord is replaced.
•
NEVER allow the ceramic hot plates to touch your skin while the Hair
Straightener is plugged in.
•
NEVER use the Hair Straightener in the bathroom or any area where it could
come into contact with water or liquid.
•
NEVER cover the Hair Straightener when it is plugged in.
•
NEVER leave the Hair Straightener unattended when it is plugged in.
•
ALWAYS keep the Hair Straightener's power supply cord away from the
ceramic hot plates.
•
ALWAYS keep the Hair Straightener out of reach of children.
HOW TO USE:
•
Plug in the Hair Straightener and place on a smooth, dry, flat surface.
•
Use lower temperature for fine or bleached hair, medium temperature for
normal hair and higher temperatures for thick, coarse or ethnic hair.
•
Turn ON/OFF switch to Switch ON the unit.The red and green lights go on
indicating that the appliance is heating up. After approximately 5 minutes, the
red light will turn off indicating the appliance has reached the correct
temperature for use.
•
Starting at the top of the head, next to the scalp, select a small section of hair
(approx.2 inches wide and 1/4 inch deep)and clamp between the ceramic
plates. Maintaining some tension, slowly slide the tongs down the section of
hair from roots to tips. Be careful to avoid touching your hands or scalp with the
hot plates.
•
Repeat process all over the head, allowing hair to cool before combing
through.
•
After use, push ON/OFF switch to switch OFF the unit. The green light goes off,
indicating that the appliance is cooling down.
•
When the Hair Straightener has completely cooled, clean with a damp, soft
cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners.
