For the preparation of food to be fr ozen, please con-
sult a specialized manual.

- Food that has be thawe d, even partially, m ust not be
re-frozen: you must c ook it in order to  consume it (within
24 hours) or to freeze  it once again.
- When freezing fresh f oods, remember that they  should
not touch other previ ously frozen or deep fr ozen foods.
Place the food that you wish  to freeze in the top com-
partment where the t emperature will fall below     -18°C,
which is ideal for fr eezing food properl y. Remember that
proper conservation depends on the spe ed of freezing.
- During the freezing process , avoid opening the door of
the freezer.
- Freeze only the quan tities (in kg) shown  on the data
plate situated inside th e refrigerator compar tment.
- For the best conservati on and defrosting, remember to
freeze small portions;  this will ensure rapi d and uniform
freezing. Mark package wi th a description of the con-
tents and the date it was  frozen.
- In the case of power fa ilure or breakdown, d o not

open the freezer door. Thi s will help maintain the tem pera-
ture inside the freez er ensuring that foods  are conserved for
at least 17 hours.
- Do not store full bottles in  the freezer since they coul d ex-
plode when they freez e. (Remember that l iquids increase in
volume when frozen).
-If  the room temperatur e remains below 14°C  for an ex-
tended period of tim e the freezer will  not reach the tem-
peratures required for  storage, and storage li fe will be
shorter. In this case,  frozen foodstuffs  should be used withi n a
relatively short peri od of time.
In order to freeze an d then thaw foods op timally, it is rec-
ommended that you div ide food into small  portions so that
they freeze quickly an d uniformly. The pack ages should be
clearly marked with the  content and the date th ey were
frozen.
If it is required to store a lar ge quantity of foodstu ff, you may
easily take out central  drawer, and place th e food directly
onto the evaporator plate. Mak e sure that, after having in-
serted the load, the d oor closes correctl y.
