Per un più semplice utilizzo, installate le ma-
nopole di regolazione del volume fornite in
dotazione, inserendole sull’alberino del con-
trollo e spingendo leggermente. In alternati-
va, se volete che nessuno possa andare ad
agire sul guadagno dei canali, potete instal-
lare i tappini di gomma forniti in dotazione
per coprire i controlli del volume.

Uscita del segnale Link

Questa coppia di connettori RCA possono
essere usati per inviare i segnali in ingresso
ad un altro componente audio senza nes-
suna processazione, ad esempio per colle-
gare in modalità “daisy-chain” un ulteriore
ampliﬁcatore per pilotare un secondo set di
diffusori. I segnali in ingresso collegati ai
canali “A” sono disponibile anche su que-
ste uscite LINK.

NOTA

Questi segnali in ingresso dai ca-

nali “A”possono essere inviati agli ingressi
“B” e/o “C” impostando il selettore INPUT
SELECT sulla coppia di diffusori relativa in
posizione LINK.

Diffusori

L’RKB-650 è dotato di tre coppie di connettori
per i diffusori, una coppia per ogni canale.

Scelta dei diffusori

L’impedenza nominale dei diffusori collega-
ti al RKB-650 dovrebbe essere almeno di 4
ohm. Quando vengono collegate in paral-
lelo più coppie di diffusori, l’impedenza ef-
fettiva che l’ampliﬁcatore rileva è la metà,
per esempio: se si collegano due coppie di
diffusori da 8 ohm, l’ampliﬁcatore rileva un
carico da 4 ohm. Quando pilotate più dif-
fusori collegati in parallelo, accertatevi che
abbiano una impedenza nominale di 8 ohm
o superiore.

Scelta dei cavi dei diffusori

Per collegare l’RKB-650 ai diffusori utilizza-
te cavi isolati bipolari. La sezione e la quali-
tà del cavo possono avere effetti udibili sulla
qualità della riproduzione del sistema: potete
utilizzare dei cavi standard per diffusori, ma
potrebbero dare luogo ad una uscita di basso
livello o ad una risposta alle basse frequenze
inadeguata, in particolar modo con cavi mol-
to lunghi. In generale, dei cavi di buona qua-
lità miglioreranno il suono. Se volete ottenere
le migliori prestazioni, dovreste considerare
l’acquisto di cavi per diffusori di alta qualità;
il vostro rivenditore Rotel potrà aiutarvi nella
scelta dei cavi adatti al vostro sistema.

Polarità e fase

La polarità, o orientamento positivo/negati-
vo, dei collegamenti di ogni diffusore ed am-
pliﬁcatore deve sempre essere rispettata, in
modiche tutti i diffusori siano in fase. Se la
polarità di una connessione viene erronea-
mente invertita, la riproduzione delle basse
frequenze sarà molto debole e l’immagine
stereo risulterà degradata. Tutti i cavi per
diffusori sono contrassegnati in modo da
poterli identiﬁcare facilmente: solitamente
su uno dei due cavi è presente una striscia
colorata o un altro segno di riconoscimento
simile; oppure, se l’isolante dei cavi è tra-
sparente, i conduttore sono di colori diversi
(uno di colore rame ed uno argento); oppure
potrebbe essere indicata la polarità diretta-
mente sull’isolante. Identiﬁcate i conduttori
positivi e negativi e prestate attenzione ad
ogni collegamento che effettuate sull’ampli-
ﬁcatore e sui diffusori.

Collegamento dei diffusori

Le due coppie di terminali dei diffusori del
RKB-650 sono identiﬁcati con un codice a
colori per ogni canale, una coppia per il
diffusore sinistro ed una coppia per quello
destro. Fate riferimento alle indicazioni sui
connettori. I connettori dei diffusori accetta-
no terminali di tipo “banana” (eccetto che
per la Comunità Europea dove il loro uso
non è consentito).

Stendete i cavi dal RKB-650 ai diffusori. Lascia-
te i cavi un po’ più lunghi del necessario per
darvi la possibilità di spostare i componenti
ed accedere ai connettori dei diffusori.

Se utilizzate connettori a banana, collegateli
ai cavi e quindi inseriteli nei connettori sul
pannello posteriore. Il collare a vite dei ter-
minali deve essere avvitato completamente
(in senso orario).

Se state usando terminali ad anello aperto,
collegateli ai cavi. Se collegate direttamen-
te i cavi spellati ai terminali del RKB-650,
separate i cavi se state utilizzando cavi bi-
polari, e quindi spellate i terminali dei cavi.
Fate attenzione a non tagliare anche il cavo
interno quando lo spellate. Svitate (in senso
antiorario) i collari a vite. Posizionate i ter-
minali ad anello aperto attorno al corpo del
connettore, o il cavo spellato sul foro interno
del connettore. Avvitate il collare in senso
orario per bloccare il connettore ad anello
aperto o il cavo.

NOTA

Assicuratevi che eventuali ﬁli che fuo-

riescono dalla parte spellata del cavo, non
vadano a toccare il cavo o il connettore
adiacente.

Per ogni gruppo di canali, collegate il diffu-
sore sinistro con i due connettori dei diffu-
sori contrassegnati: LEFT. Collegate il diffu-
sore destro con i due connettori dei diffusori
contrassegnati: RIGHT. Seguite le indicazioni
sui connettori, ed assicuratevi di rispettare
la corretta polarità: il terminale positivo del
diffusore deve essere collegato al terminale
+ dell’ampliﬁcatore; il terminale negativo del
diffusore deve essere collegato al terminale
- dell’ampliﬁcatore
