• When the camera is turned off, or the Auto Power Function is
activated, the changed setting will revert to the previously-saved
exposure mode.

Set the data saving method and file format for images saved to
the SD Memory Cards in the SD1 and SD2 slots.
Caution
• [RAW] and [RAW+] are not available when Extended Bracketing
(p.R16) or HDR Capture (p.R16) is set. To change the file format,
turn these functions off.
• Only one slot can be set to [RESERVE] or [OFF].
Memo
• When the file format is changed, the number of recordable images
at that format appears at the top right of the screen.
• You can also set this by turning the

SD1/SD2 Image File Format

JPEG
Captures images in JPEG format. (default setting)
RAW
Captures images in RAW format.
RAW+
Captures images in both RAW and JPEG format and saves
them to one card.
RESERVE
When an SD Memory Card being used becomes full,
images will be saved to the other card in the same file
format.
OFF
The card slot is not used.
