➠
Depending upon the software version, at times your iPod cannot be oper-
ated from the system. We recommend that you update the software of your
iPod to the newest version.
➠
The compatibility with your iPod may vary depending upon the model. For
supported Apple devices, see page 54.
➠
Malfunctions can occur depending upon the iPod device.
➠
Disconnect your iPod from the
Mediacenter
only if it is not being accessed.
➠
Your Mediacenter is certified for the operation with an iPod (for supported
devices see page 54). An iPhone can however also be connected as a source
of music. A message appears on the iPhone on insertion in the dock. Keep
your iPhone to the aeroplane mode while it is connected with the Media-
center. It cannot simultaneously be used as a phone.
➠
After a successful connection, the medium is automatically “indexed“ for
subsequent convenient and quick search of music. This process can take
longer depending upon the size of the music collection. Wait until this proc-
ess is complete.
➠
Your Mediacenter can manage up to five different iPods/iPhones. If a new
unit is connected it replaces the oldest existing one.
