The Shake Reduction function operates by obtaining the lens information
such as focal length. Set the focal length when using a lens for which
the focal length information cannot be automatically obtained.

Make sure that [Shake Reduction] is activated, and turn
the camera off.
Refer to “Reducing Vertical and Horizontal Camera Shake” (p.117)
for details.

Attach a lens, and turn the camera on.
The [Input Focal Length] screen appears.

Turn the rear e-dial (
S
) to set
the focal length.
Select from the following focal length
values. (The default setting is 35 mm.)

Press the

button.
The camera is ready to take a picture.
