Digital Panorama
mode
Stitches images taken with the camera to create
a panoramic photograph. Recorded pixels for
each frame to be stitched is fixed at 2M.

Composite mode
For capturing image with frame composite.
Recorded pixels is fixed at 3M.
When you select an icon on the Capture Mode Palette, waiting for
about 2 seconds, the description for the selected mode appears. To

Face Recognition AF&AE

and (Kids mode), “Face Recognition AF&AE” is activated.
This function recognizes the subject’s face, focuses, and performs
exposure compensation when capturing images. The camera will
recognize the main subject's face and make suitable adjustments
automatically even when there are multiple faces. The subject is
given a brighter and healthier look.
• When the camera does not recognize the subject’s face in
R
mode,
I
mode or mode, the camera will focus on the
subject using the AF mode selected in [AF Mode] on the
[
A
Rec. Mode] menu.
• When the camera does not recognize the subject’s face in
b
mode, the camera will focus on the subject using the standard
AF Mode (Multiple). You cannot change to other AF modes on
the [
A
Rec. Mode] menu.
• The Face Recognition may not work if the subject is wearing
sunglasses, has part of the face covered, or is not looking
toward the camera.
