off by setting the knob (8) to the position “
”.
•

OFF» button (6), the indicator (7) will go out.
HOW TO MAKE A GOOD ESPRESSO
•
Use fresh ground coffee for “espresso” coffee
makers.
•
Slightly tamp the ground coffee in the filter (16),
you can do it with the back side of the measur-
ing spoon (17).
•
Coffee strength depends on the quality and
grinding of coffee beans.
•
If coffee is pouring out too long, this means the
coffee powder is too fine or it is tamped too
strongly.
DESCALING
For effective operation of the coffee maker we rec-
ommend to remove scale every month and more
often when using “hard” water.
Regular descaling extends the coffee maker operat-
ing life and decreases the hazard of damaging the
unit.
Untimely descaling, as well as non-observance of
these instructions and mishandling the coffee maker
are not covered by warranty.
1. Make sure that the button (6) is set to the position
«OFF» (is in released position), and the operating
mode selection knob (8) is set to the position “
”.
2. Make a citric acid solution - 2 teaspoons per 1
liter water - and pour this solution into the water
tank (11). Place the water tank (11) on the coffee
maker body (3).
3. Insert the coffee filter (16) into the holder (15),
matching the ledge on the filter (16) with the slot
on the holder (15) and turn the filter clockwise or
counterclockwise (pic. 1, 2).
4. Without adding coffee into the filter (16) attach
the filter holder (15) to the coffee maker boiler; to
do this, place the filter holder handle (13) under
the marking «INSERT» on the coffee maker body
(3), insert the filter holder (15) into the boiler and
turn the filter holder handle (13) in the direction of

8. Wait till the indicator (5) lights up green, then set
the operating mode selection knob (8) to the po-
sition “
”, fill a cup with capacity of no less than
100 ml, otherwise the boiler will not fill up with cit-
ric acid solution, and the descaling process will
be unsatisfying. After the cup is filled with water,
switch the water supply off by setting the operat-
ing mode selection knob (8) to the position “
”
and pour the water out of the cup.
9. To clean the steam supply system from scale,
switch the steam supply mode «
» on by press-
ing the button (4) and wait till the indicator (5)
lights up green.
10. Put the tip of the cappuccinator pipe (12) into
the glass and set the operating mode selection
knob (8) to the position «
» for approximately
1-2 minutes and then switch the steam supply
off, setting the knob (8) to the position “
” and
switch the coffee maker off by pressing the ON/
OFF button (6).
11. Wait for 10-15 minutes.
12. Repeat the procedure described in paragraphs
9-10 no less than 3 times.
13. With small intervals, repeat the boiler cleaning
procedure (paragraph 8) till citric acid solution
completely resolves in the tank (11).
14. After using the citric acid solution wash the cof-
fee maker. To do this, fill the water tank (11) with
clear water till maximal level and repeat the pro-
cedure of the paragraphs 8, 9, 10 no less than 3
times without the 10-15 minute break.
15. Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the «ON/
OFF» button (6).
Note:
To remove the scale you can use special
descaling agents for coffee makers and coffee
machines, strictly following the instructions on their
usage.
