WIDE
Select this setting if a wide screen TV set with the picture
format 16:9 is connected.
NORMAL
Select this setting if a TV set with the picture format 4:3 is
connected. With Letter Box Mode the display of wide screen
formats has black bars at the top and bottom edges of the
picture. Using Pan-Scan, the picture is stretched so that no
black bar is visible, but the left and right edges are cut off.
