Tip:
- To obtain comparable measurements,
weigh yourself every day at the same
time and under the same conditions
(recommended in the mornings or three
hours after a meal or sport). The values
fluctuate naturally by approx. 5% in the
course of the day.
- When stepping on the scales, ensure that
you touch as many contacts as possible.
- Very dry skin and/or very hard skin may
distort the result. The measurement results
will be more accurate if the soles of the feet
have good blood circulation or are damp.
However, please ensure that the soles of
the feet are not wet.
Sportsperson mode/
Athlete mode
Scientific studies prove that there is
a significant difference between the body
composition of competitive athletes,
amateur sportspersons and untrained persons.
That is why these scales can be used to select
between the Normal and Athlete setting.
Requirement for the selection of Athlete is
e.g. intensive endurance training of at least
8ć10 hours per week, intensive resistance
training for power athletes and a rest pulse
of max. 60 beats per minute. The setting is
possible for persons of age 18 and above only.
What does the measurement
say about the water content
Water is vital for the body. Water content drops
with increasing age. An adult has an average
total water content of approx. 50-65 %.
The optimum total water content is essential
for your health and helps prevent illnesses.
General
The body fat and water measurements are
influenced by the amount of water in the body.
The amount of water varies, e.g. according to
the time of day, demands on the body, baths
or showers, menstruation, eating and drinking.
Even illnesses or medication may influence
the result.
Note: The measurement results are not reliable
for children under 10 years of age.
Cleaning the appliance
Never immerse the scales in water.
Do not use a steam cleaner.

Wipe the scales with a damp cloth, do not
use scouring agents.

Clean the glass surface with a standard
glass cleaner.

Clean the measuring contacts 3 with a little
alcohol.
Error messages
Err 0
Initialisation was defective. Remove and
reĆinsert the battery. Then briefly press the
middle of the weighing platform.
Err 1
The weighing process was not conducted with
the person standing still or for long enough.
You must stand still on the scales for at least
five seconds.
Err 2
The weight to be weighed is too heavy
(max. 150 kg).
Err 3
The contact between the soles of the feet and
the measuring contacts 3 is too low. Place feet
on the measuring contacts 3.
Note: Very dry skin and/or very hard skin may
distort the result. The measurement results will
be more accurate if the soles of the feet have
good blood circulation or are damp. Moisten
feet slightly to obtain better contact and repeat
the measuring process.
