Printing a Device Settings Page
Press and hold the
(
Start)
button when the Ready/Data indicator lights
(ready status) until the Ready/Data indicator blinks.
Resetting Defaults
After executing this function and rebooting the printer, all the menu
parameters are reset to their default values.

Turn off the printer.

Open the rear cover.

While holding down the
(Start)
and the
(Cancel)
buttons at the
same time, turn on the printer.

After the Orange LED on the Ready/Data indicators go out, release the
(Start)
and
(Cancel)
buttons.

Close the rear cover.
• Initializes the non-volatile memory (NVM).
CAUTION:
Never attempt to turn off the printer. The printer will cease to
function.
The printer restarts automatically to apply the settings and prints the
printer settings and device settings pages.

Check if the factory settings are restored by referring to the Printer
Settings and Device Settings pages.

An error occurred while
downloading the firmware.
Turn off the printer, and then
on.
