Use the wizards to quickly configure Internet connection and VPN settings as well as activate
subscription services.
After you complete a wizard, you can go to the
CONFIGURATION
screens to configure advanced
settings.
2.2 How to Configure Interfaces, Port Roles, and Zones
This tutorial shows how to configure Ethernet interfaces, port roles, and zones for the following
example configuration.

Installation Setup Wizard
Use this wizard the first time log into the Web Configurator to configure WAN
connections and register your ZyWALL.
Quick Setup
You can find the following wizards in the
CONFIGURATION
navigation panel.
WAN Interface
Use these wizard screens to quickly configure a WAN interface’s encapsulation
and IP address settings.
VPN Setup
Use these wizard screens to quickly configure an IPSec VPN or IPSec VPN
configuration provisioning.
