Windows® - Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices
The following settings are the same for Windows® XP, Windows Vista® or Windows® 7,
unless otherwise noted.
Launch the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices from within the Windows
®
Control Panel.
On Windows® systems, POD HD500 offers both a DirectSound and ASIO®
recording
driver for maximum compatibility with audio & multimedia software applications. It is
always recommended that you select the ASIO® audio driver within your audio software,
if supported, since this offers higher performance. When prompted for ASIO® driver
settings, this dialog is where you will make them.

Device Selector -
Select your POD HD500 here. If you have more than one supported
Line 6 audio device connected, each will be selectable in this list.

Driver Version -
Displays the current device’s installed driver version number.

ESN -
Displays the current device’s unique Electronic Serial Number.
