Assigning roles is optional, and you may prefer to assign them to multiple
users at once. For more information about doing so, see “Assigning role(s)
to multiple users” on page 149. If no role is to be assigned, click
Finish
. If
you want to assign a role to this user, click
Select
.

Select the role(s) you want to assign to this user. Use the
Control
and
Shift
keys to select more than one role. The Assign Roles window appears with
the roles listed under Role Names.

Finish
to complete the procedure.
Assigning role(s) to multiple users
Occasionally, it may be more convenient to assign them to a large number of
users who are already a part of a particular group. The SafeWord 2008
Management Console allows this to be done quickly and easily. To assign one
or more roles to a particular group of users from the Console, select a user
group from the left pane.

In the Console, select the users to whom you want to apply a role, then
select
Tools > Assign Roles
.
