LED backlighting
The LED backlighting
(1
turns your TV set into a shining decoration
object.
The LED backlighting is temporarily controlled via the local control of
the TV or the remote control.
The function of the LED backlighting is reset to the default of the
general preset of
System settings
→
Control
→
more ...
→
LED
light module
(see page 110) as soon as the TV set changes its
operating mode (switching on or off).
For playback of movies in 3D mode (see page 88) we recommend
to disable the LED backlighting

When activating the LED backlighting with TV set switched off
(standby mode), further operation commands will only be handled
after several seconds.
Controlling the LED backlighting via the local control
Press briefly: Switch the LED backlighting temporarily
on/off.
Press longer: Change brightness of the LED backlight-
ing (dim the lighting).
As long as you keep the
key
depressed, the display
is in an endless loop alternately reducing the lighting to
its minimum and then increasing it to the maximum
again.
When desired brightness is reached:
Release the
key
.
Controlling the LED backlighting via the remote control
Press briefly: Switch the LED backlighting temporarily
on/off.
When backlighting is active and when there are no
further on-screen menu displays:
