The cable shown below uses a 90-degree Telco-50 connector, where the cable
extends from the side of the connector (at ninety degrees to the port). For rear-
panel splitter chassis connections using the VOP-1248G VoIP line card, use a
180-degree Telco-50 connector (where the cable extends from the base of the
connector directly opposite the port).

2.4.8 MDF Connection Scenarios
The following figure gives an overview of possible scenarios for the IES-6000 using the line
cards and splitter cards. Data and voice signals can coexist on the same telephone wiring.
