Click the
Add
button.
When the
Edit Rogue/Friendly AP
List opens, paste the
MAC address
copied
from the other screen in the corresponding field, set its
Role
as
Rogue AP
and
then click
OK
to save your changes.

The new rogue AP appears in the
Rogue/Friendly AP List
.
Select it, then click the
Containment
button to quarantine it away from the rest
of the network.
4.3 Load Balancing
When your AP becomes overloaded, there are two basic responses it can take. The
first one is to “delay” a client connection by withholding the connection until the
data transfer throughput is lowered or the client connection is picked up by
another AP. (If the client isn’t picked up after a set period of time, the AP allows it
to connect regardless.) The second response is to kick the connections until the AP
is no longer considered overloaded. Both of these tactics are known as ‘load
balancing’.
