10
The use of remote time control devices or other remote controls is not recommended.
11
In the case of surface crack, immediately turn off the induction hob to prevent the
electric shock hazard.
12
Do not place any metal items, such as knives, forks, spoons, caps, on the hob plate,
as they may become hot and burn the user.
Troubleshooting
Problem description
Checking activities
After the appliance is plugged
in, no sound signal can be
heard and the power indicator
fails to light up.
1. Make sure that the induction hob has been properly plugged in.
2. Make sure that the pan has been placed in the centre of the hob
plate.
3. Make sure that the mains socket is efficient.
A sound signal is emitted
continuously and the appliance
turns off after 15 seconds.
1. Make sure that the pan is suitable for induction hob use.
2. Make sure that the pan has been placed in the centre of the hob
plate.
3. Make sure that the pan base diameter is greater than 8 cm.
The induction hob suddenly
stopped heating.
1. Check to make sure that the ambient temperature is not too
high.
2. Check to make sure that vent holes are not blocked.
3. After reaching the desired temperature, the appliance stops
heating and goes in the temperature maintenance mode.
4. The protection system might have turned on; wait 10 minutes
and then try to use the appliance again.
Temperature
cannot
be
changed in the temperature
maintenance mode.
1. Check to make sure that the pan bottom is flat, without a cavity
in the centre.
Never attempt to repair the induction hob on your own. In case of damage,
contact the nearest service centre.
Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Use a mild detergent for cleaning. For cleaning the casing, do not use
abrasive cleaners, such as emulsions, creams, pastes, etc. They may
remove graphic information symbols, such as marks, warning signs, etc.
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
Do not clean the hob plate with the use of a steam cleaner. The burst of
steam can damage the appliance.
Remove dust and food particles from the hob plate using a damp cloth.
●
Before putting the appliance into storage, make sure it is cool and dry.
●
Vent hole area: remove dirt using cotton sticks, and if there are oil deposits, use
●
a washing-up liquid first.
Ecology – Protect the environment
Each user can contribute to protecting the environment. It is neither difficult
nor too expensive. To this end:
Have the carton packaging recycled at the recycling centre. Put the
plastic bags into the plastic (PE) waste container. When worn out, bring
the appliance to the appropriate waste collection centre as some of its
components can be hazardous to the environment.
Do not dispose of the appliance with household waste!!!
When setting the countdown time the sound signal will be heard after each
press of the “+” or “–” button; when the button is pressed for more than
2 seconds there will be no sound signal.
When switching from the countdown mode to another mode, the time
being set will be cancelled (the countdown indicator lamp will go out). The
induction hob will use the default settings of the new mode.
After setting the countdown time in the power or temperature selection
modes, you can press the “Power” or “Temp” button respectively in order
to show the temperature value on the display. The temperature value may
be set within 5 seconds by means of the “+” and “–” buttons. If, within
5 seconds, no button has been pressed or the “Time” button has been
pressed, the countdown time setting will appear on the display.
Additional information
Sound signals
1
In the case of improper operation of the appliance a sound signal will be set off:
The signal will last for 10 seconds.
2
In the case of irregularities not connected with the appliance, the symbol “
” will
appear on the display until the appliance is turned off or the problem is rectified.
3
When the appliance is plugged in or 2 hours before turning it automatically off, a one-
second sound signal is heard. When manually changing the cooking function you can hear
a sound signal lasting 0.2 seconds.
4
A signal indicating the end of particular function setting is a single sound signal lasting
0.2 seconds.
Cooling fan
1
The fan will not start to operate unless any of the cooking functions is being performed.
2
The fan will automatically turn on after a particular cooking function has been selected,
except for the initial settings and heat maintenance function.
3
The temperature sensor decides whether to turn the fan on or not.
When the temperature of the power output coil is ≥ 55°C, the protection system will
●
cause the fan to turn on.
When the temperature of the power output coil is < 55°C, the fan will not turn on.
●
System of protections and error messages
In the case of appliance errors, excluding the error codes given below, a particular indicator
will light steadily while the rest of indicators will be turned off.
1
The protection against the lack of pan, improper pan or improper pan size (below
12 cm in diameter):
When the user takes the pan off the hob plate or attempts to use a too-small pan, the
induction hob will emit a sound signal and will immediately cut the electricity supply. The
code “
” will appear on the display.
2
The IGBT protection (inside the induction hob) against overheating:
When the IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) temperature exceeds the standard value
and the sensor opens the circuit, the induction hob will automatically cut off the output
power. A sound signal will be heard, and the code “
”. will appear on the display. The
induction hob will not exit the emergency mode automatically, manual control is needed.
3
Protection against high voltage:
If the voltage is equal to or higher than 265 V, the induction hob will automatically cut off
the output power. A sound signal will be heard, and the code “
” will appear on the
display.
4
Protection against low voltage:
If the voltage is equal to or less than 165 V, the induction hob will automatically cut off the
output power. A sound signal will be heard, and the code “
” will appear on the display.
5
Protection for the sensor:
If the sensor detects that the circuit is open, the code “
” will appear on the display. In
the case of short circuit, the code “
” will appear on the display.
6
Protection against overheating:
If, during induction hob operation, the bottom of the pan exceeds the temperature limit, the
appliance will automatically cut off the output power. There will be no sound signal and the
code “
” will appear on the display (the temperature limit is 300-350°C; the protection
safeguards from leaving an empty pan on the induction hob when it is turned on).
7
Protection against leaving the appliance turned on (restricted when using reheating
and frying functions):
If the induction hob does not receive any commands during 2 hours of operation, the
appliance will automatically turn off to prevent possible accidents during the user’s
absence.
8
Protection against using too-small cookware:
At the standard working voltage (165-265 V), the induction hob did not give up power
when a pan with 8 cm in diameter was placed on the hob plate. The induction hob gave up
power when a pan with 12 cm diameter was placed on the hob plate.
9
When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service
personnel or other qualified persons in order to avoid safety hazard.
The importer/manufacturer does not accept liability for any damages resulting from unintended use or
improper operation of the appliance.
The importer/manufacturer reserves the right to modify the product at any time, without prior notice,
in order to adjust it to legal regulations, standards and directives or due to structural, commercial,
aesthetic and other reasons.
