Setting Monitoring Preferences
You can have Status Monitor 2 alert you to any error conditions while you’re
working on other tasks. This lets you know if one of your cartridges runs out
of ink or if any other problems occur. Follow these steps to set monitoring
preferences:
1. From the Status Monitor 2 main window, right-click
EPSON Stylus
Pro 9000
on the Installed Printers list and select
Monitoring
Preferences
from the drop-down menu. You see the Monitoring
Preferences window:
2. Adjust the monitoring interval by dragging the slider.
3. If you don’t want to use background monitoring, uncheck
Monitor this
printer
.
4. Turn on one or more of the Status Alert options to specify the type of
alert messages you want to see.
5. Click
OK
to save your settings.
Turn

monitoring
on or off.
Drag the
slider to set
monitoring
interval
(frequency).
Note
You can right-click the
Status Monitor icon on
the taskbar to show alert
boxes in front of other
windows or turn off
background monitoring.
The icon will disappear,
but you can still access
Status Monitor 2 through
the Start menu.
