Using POD HD Pro/FBV as a MIDI Controller

Note: Please refer to

“FBV Controller Devices - Footswitch & Pedal Mapping” on page

B•5

the see how your specific FBV device’s switches & pedals are mapped to the various

POD HD Pro assignable controllers (FS 1-8, EXP 1, EXP 2, TOE SWITCH, etc.)

You can configure any number of your POD HD Pro Presets to include customized MIDI

Control assignments for most FBV footswitches and Pedal controls. This allows you to

use POD HD Pro and FBV to remotely control other hardware or software, such as Line 6

M13, M9, POD® Farm 2 Plug-In, another POD HD Pro or HD500 device, or any other

Line 6 or 3rd party products that respond to external MIDI control!

Note: Footswitches FS5 - FS8 will only transmit your configured MIDI assignments when
their Setup option is set to the FS5 - FS8 “Pedalboard Mode” - see

““Page 1, Setup:Utilities

Options” on page 2•2

. Also, when POD HD Pro is actively in Looper Mode, fixed MIDI

CCs are transmitted from some footswitches - see

“Looper Mode Footswitch Behaviors”

on page C•8

.
