Description
This command is used to configure an IGMP snooping multicast group profile on the switch and to
add or delete multicast addresses for a profile.
Format
config igmp_snooping multicast_vlan_group_profile <profile_name 1-32> [add | delete]
<mcast_address_list>
Parameters
<profile_name 32>
- Specifies the multicast VLAN profile name. The maximum length is 32
characters.
add
- Specifies to add a multicast address list to this multicast VLAN profile.
delete
- Specifies to delete a multicast address list from this multicast VLAN profile.
<mcast_address_list>
- Specifies a multicast address list. This can be a continuous single
multicast address, such as 225.1.1.1, 225.1.1.3, 225.1.1.8, a multicast address range, such as
225.1.1.1-225.2.2.2, or both types, such as 225.1.1.1, 225.1.1.18-225.1.1.20.
